Happy 100th day!
This was our 100th day breakfast.
We made it! 100 days so far. We had a great celebration today:) Our morning started off with a gourmet 100th day breakfast. We ate the number 100. It was a sausage link, and two doughnuts along with some milk or orange juice. Then we did some activities where we timed ourselves to see what we could do in 100 seconds. Some of the things we tried to do were: hold our breath, write our name 10 times, tie our shoe, say the alphabet, say the Pledge of Allegiance, write to 100, and sit quietly. It was pretty fun!
Then we made Froot Loop necklaces using 100 Froot Loops. I cut the strings too short so they were actually 90 Froot Loop necklaces. They ate the other ten. We also had a 100 piece puzzle race. The red table won. It took all 5 tables 38 minutes to put their puzzles together.
Each child brought in 100 of something and they shared it with the class. My favorite were the 100 candy hearts.
Then we wrote: If I had a 100 dollars, I would buy....
All in all it was a great 100th day celebration!
Here are the kids doing calendar on the smartboard. They were so excited to exchange 99 tens for 1 hundred!
