Our reading cafe was a hit! We had a total of 30 customers and many of them were multiple customers. Each child had at least 2 customers. The kids were so excited and did an excellent job reading! They didn't even realize that they were improving their fluency at the same time too! A special thanks goes out to all of our customers they were: Dr. Anderson, Mrs. Harman, Mrs. Martz, Mrs. Patton, Mrs. Dodds, Mrs. Hammond, Mrs. Thompson, Ms. Godwin, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Aten, Mr. Dearwester, Mrs. Rader, Ms. Martha, Mrs. Stahler, Mrs. Maus, Mr. & Mrs. Egler, Mrs. Reser, Mrs. Smith, another Mrs. Smith & Will, Mr. & Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Peterson, Mr. Farrington, Mrs. LaFollette & Kayli, Mrs. James, Mrs. Sterling, & Mr. Foust. I too got to be a customer for a few minutes!
I am VERY VERY proud of all of my students for doing an OUTSTANDING job today!
It was also silly sock day in honor of the book Fox in Socks. I read that book today and WOW! It's a tongue twister! Gloria Herring from Gloria's tumbling was also our celebrity reader today. She read us Green Eggs and Ham. Thanks Gloria for coming in today!
