Happy Earth Day!

In honor of Earth Day yesterday, we collected trash around our playground this morning. We filled my entire trash can with garbage from the playground. The kids had a blast cleaning up our earth! Our student helper, Ms. Elder, did a craft with the kids in honor of Earth Day. We saved the milk cartons from lunch yesterday. She painted them, and cut them, so that they are now bird feeders. The kids decorated them and they turned out really cute! She wanted the kids to see that even simple garbage can have a new use!

Our bean plants look great! We planted them two weeks ago. Everyone's plant had sprouted as of today. They went home today too!
