Here are some photos from our Career Day. The kids looked great. I've been collecting costumes for the past 3 years now and I was able to dress many of the kids that day. So, if you know of anyone getting rid of costumes, I'll take them! Each child chose a job that they might like to be. They then wrote letters to that person asking them questions about their job. I've gotten several back. Hopefully, everyone will write back! They also researched what their career envolves. Our guest speakers helped out too! The final thing was the career day presentation.

And lastly, our astronaut, ambulance driver, nurse, doctor, & vet.
The kids enjoyed dressing up that day and playing with the tools of their jobs! Our field trip downtown will be this Thursday, unless it rains! 
Congrats First Graders on a fun and exciting unit. I can't wait until you are second graders to tell me all about.
